42nd Annual Davis Reunion – Bancroft Times Article
When Annie and I arrived for the 42nd Annual Davis Reunion, we were greeted by the sunny smiles of Gary Davis who had come from New York City, and Sadie (Davis) Robinson, who had the keys to the church. Those who travel the furthest are often among the ‘firstest’. The reunion was held as usual on the second weekend of the month, on the 11th of August 2013, organized this year by Clarke and Erica Mayhew. The weather for our reunion could not have been better, as we started this year’s event at the Emanuel Church near Maple Leaf, Ontario – no longer in regular use but opened especially for the Davis reunion.
